THE DEAN’S OFFICE
The dean’s office in a college is the collegial organ that is directed by the Dean and it comprises of:
- a) The Dean;
- b) The vice Dean;
- c) The administrator of the main unit;
- d) The directors of the main units:
In addition to the statute of the College, the Dean shall exercise the following powers:
- The Dean’s Office shall draw up the strategic plan for the development of the main unit, based on the proposals of its base units, as well as those of the head of unit, and shall coordinate the activity of the base units.
- Reviews the problems of the day-to-day functioning of the main unit and, in accordance with its functions and competencies, makes a decision or passes it to other managing bodies or authorities.
- Approves the list of invited academic staff to be activated during the teaching process and submits it to the Rector for approval.
