Abstract
Integration in the European Union brings major changes for agriculture, food markets and stakeholders operating in this field. These elements face large market opportunities and the growing threats which come from the adaptation of standards and rules of the common agricultural policy. Now our country is in a phase where we are potential candidates for membership in the European Union and the Stabilization and Association Agreement (SAA) between Albania and the EU entered into force in April 2009 and the Interim Agreement has been in force since December 2006 and in April 2009 Albania applied for EU membership and it is known that SAA provides a framework of mutual commitments on a range of political, economic and commercial. One of the problems in the agricultural sector in relation to the integration process and specifically in the policies of the common agricultural that is undertaken Albania is the lack of sensibility communities of the farmers on the recognition of agricultural development policies, standards and tools needed to cope with the costs, consequences and benefits of further liberalization of markets.
