Abstract

The dialectal lexicons and the regional one makes the created pearl for centuries and ages, which can’t be left without collection and a good sistemation as soon as it won’t be dissolved. It has been done a good job its collection, but even though a considerable part of this treasure still sleeps into the caves waiting for a hand to write it down. Since the 1940 of the last century this content started to be gathered in some special dictionaries which are called dialectal dictionaries. As a new type of explicative dictionaries they are a new kind and not well consolidated. The fact of making a fast documentation of what has still remained alive in the people’s speech is the task of our time, because by doing that we not only enrich the literary Albanian language, but even for the reason that the old generation is gradually leaving our life, so consequently all this lexical-semantic treasure is in danger to decline. But on the other hand, the collection and organization of all this lexicon is done by non-specialist persons, so far this reason the published dictionaries have several deficiencies. Nowadays we are still looking for the publishing of a big dialectal dictionary that includes all the dialectal content collected for years and those that will be collected in the next years, serving as a powerful basic in order to enrich the Albanian normative dictionary. The publishing of such dictionaries should be done by groups of specialists so that it won’t be left to deletants. Everywhere people speak Albanian, inside and outside of the state borders there are regional universities which should take up seriously this issue, especially the teaching branches in those universities must become important centers for the management of the Topic. A valuable contribution to the region should give Teacher training Regional Universities.
